The Versatec series delivers an unbeatable combination of comfort, efficiency
and reliability at an affordable price. It provides effective and efficient
operation with entering water temperatures of 30° F to 110° F in geothermal
applications, or 40° F to 110° F in water-source applications. Versatec units
meet or exceed ASHRAE 90.1 energy efficiency standards for commercial buildings.
Versatile Cabinets
- Because they're compact, Versatec cabinets simplify installation in
confined spaces.
- They're available in sizes from 9,000 to 70,000 Btuh.
- Vertical-discharge air configurations are available with left, right or
front return-air options.
- Horizontal-discharge air configurations are available with left or right
return-air options and side- or end-discharge configurations that are
field-convertible.
Highest Quality
Each Versatec unit is performance-certified under ARI/ISO 13256-1 and is
computer run-tested to ensure reliable performance, not only at start-up but for
many years to come.
Dependable Components
Versatec units feature bi-directional thermal expansion valves (TXVs). These
allow maximum unit efficiency over a broad operating temperature range,
eliminating the need for water-regulating valves and preventing the nuisance of
unit faults. Oversized, three-row air coils increase unit capacity, improve
efficiency and maximize moisture removal. All units have a factory-installed
liquid-line refrigerant filter dryer to ensure the integrity of the refrigerant
circuit.
Choice of Controls
Versatec models are available with a choice of controls—basic electromechanical
or advanced microprocessor—which are loaded with useful features. These
microprocessor controls include fault retry, short-cycle protection, random
start timing, brownout protection, emergency shutdown, condensate overflow, unit
diagnostics and night setback control with the TA32U02 thermostat.
