CustomHeat®
TWO-STAGE GAS FURNACE
Lennox mid-efficiency, two-stage gas furnace provides custom
comfort for your home.
Like your favorite sweater, the CustomHeat® gas furnace wraps you
in comfortable warmth.
When it has turned cold outside, you want your home nice and warm
inside. But that warmth doesn't have to mean feeling like you've stepped
into a sauna. You want a comfortable, consistent warmth permeating
throughout your home. The CustomHeat furnace can provide this special
"customized" heat for your home.
The key to the CustomHeat furnace's exceptional comfort is its
two-stage heating technology. Two-stage heating delivers a more
consistent and comfortable temperature throughout your home. That means
uncomfortable temperature swings are a thing of the past.
Nothing Sounds Better
Along
with comfortable warmth, you want peace and quiet in your home. That
means no noisy equipment to disturb and distract you. Since the
CustomHeat® furnace is a two-stage furnace it will spend the majority
of its operation in its extremely quiet first stage or low heat. You'll
hardly know it's working, except for the fact that you'll be feeling
warm and snug. Too bad it can't keep the kids quiet too.
Built For Life
There
are very few constants in life -- things you can rely on. But you can
depend on your CustomHeat furnace to provide you and your family with
years of quiet, comfortable warmth. That's because it is built by
Lennox. A company that's been building quality furnaces for over 100
years. From conception to production, our furnaces go through several
series of rigorous tests. We purposely subject our equipment to extreme
conditions. This ensures that you will receive quality products. We are
so serious about quality that we run-test each and every unit before it
leaves the factory. We are proud that Lennox quality standards are among
the toughest in the industry.
Breath of Fresh Air
The
CustomHeat furnace plays a role in battling indoor air pollution.
It's a fact that 50% of all minor illnesses are either caused by, or are
aggravated by, poor indoor air quality. To improve air circulation
within the home, the CustomHeat furnace is equipped with a dedicated low
speed for continuous fan operation. This allows more air to continuously
move slowly and quietly through the system and indoor air quality
products, such as humidifiers or filters.
Save Comfortably
The
CustomHeat furnace offers more comfort for every energy dollar you
spend. No matter how warm your furnace keeps you, a high energy bill
will send a cold shiver up your spine. With an efficiency rating of up
to 80.0%, the CustomHeat gas furnace not only keeps you cozy, it can
reduce your energy bills when compared to older furnaces. The additional
monthly savings means you'll be comfortable with the return on your
investment for years to come.

This chart depicts potential energy savings you can expect from the
CustomHeat furnace versus older furnaces with lower efficiency ratings.
Criteria used in this example are 2,000 full load heating hours, with a
60,000 Btuh heating design load and $.65 ccf for gas. Your actual
savings may vary depending on the weather patterns in your local area,
local fuel rates and your individual lifestyle. This chart does not take
into consideration additional savings gained through two-stage heating.
Go With a Sure Thing
SureLight™ Ignition
When it comes to safety and reliability, second best is simply not good
enough. That's why Lennox has an ignition system that is the safest,
surest, most intelligent hot surface ignition system available today.
The
SureLight™ ignition system features an igniter made of a virtually
unbreakable material -- silicon nitride. Accelerated life-cycle testing
on this igniter has proven its remarkable reliability.
But the igniter is just half the story. The SureLight ignition system
also features a patented "adaptive technology" control module
that's intelligent enough to determine just how much energy is needed to
light the burners without overheating the igniter. No other hot-surface
ignition system is as reliable.
The Comfortable Way to Heat Your Home
Two-Stage Heating
Two-stage
heating reduces temperature swings within your home, maintaining a
consistent, comfortable and preferred temperature. Most of the time the
furnace operates in the first stage or low heat for greater efficiency
and comfort. On colder days, if first stage can not satisfy the heating
demand, it switches to high heat or the second stage. Standard,
single-stage furnaces only offer one level of heat - high. |

Quality Home Comfort

Your furnace typically resides inside the home in a variety of
locations. The supply ducts forces warmed air into the home after the
air has traveled cross the heat exchanger. At the same time the return
duct is pulling the cooler air from the home sending it past the heat
exchanger, starting the cycle over again.
Recognition of Quality

Lennox is proud of the fact that the CustomHeat® furnace has earned the
reputable Good Housekeeping Seal.
And
we build according to an ISO 9001 registered quality system.
Quality Dealers
You Can Count On
Choosing the right dealer is every bit as important as choosing the
right brand of equipment. Every Lennox Dealer, which includes
independently owned and operated businesses, has to meet the Lennox
Quality Dealer standards. We think you'll agree they're a big reason why
you can count on getting quality service whenever you call your Lennox
Dealer.
