The Harmony II zoning system works by modulating airflow from the indoor furnace or air handler in conjunction with zone thermostats and airflow dampers. The result of this unique system is that the ideal amount of airflow is delivered to each zone in your home. And because the Harmony II system doesn't create excess airflow, it is more efficient than other zoning systems that must dispose of excess air with a bypass damper. And because of the variable airflow, the Harmony II system doesn't cause annoying whistling or other duct noises.
