your comfort.
Tired of battling your home's drafts, hot spots, cold spots and other
comfort challenges? Then it's time to take command by bringing Harmony
to your home's environment. The Harmony II™ zoning system is designed
to provide precise comfort throughout your home, even into those back
bedrooms where it's always a few degrees warmer or cooler than the rest
of the house. The Harmony II zoning system works by modulating airflow
from the indoor furnace or air handler in conjunction with zone
thermostats and airflow dampers. The result of this unique system is
that the ideal amount of airflow is delivered to each zone in your home.
And because the Harmony II system doesn't create excess airflow, it is
more efficient than other zoning systems that must dispose of excess air
with a bypass damper. And because of the variable airflow, the Harmony
II system doesn't cause annoying whistling or other duct noises.
The Harmony II zoning system also saves you money. With the use of a
programmable thermostat and zone thermostats, the Harmony II zoning
system can save you money on your energy bills. The Harmony II system
allows you to condition designated areas of your home while shutting
down the system in others. That way, you don't waste energy. With up to
four different comfort zones in your house, the Harmony II zoning system
lets you tailor your comfort equipment to meet your comfort needs.
Whether you have a home office, unoccupied guest rooms, or a formal
living room that is rarely used, temperatures will be controlled in each
area at any time of the day or night.

The Harmony II zoning system alleviates comfort problems created by
temperature imbalances. For example, in two-story homes, warm air tends
to migrate upstairs. With traditional centrally-controlled systems, you
usually need to overcompensate to maintain an acceptable comfort level
on both floors. In ranch-style homes, there may be living areas with
large windows or skylights that make it more difficult to cool or heat
those areas than other rooms. The Harmony II system conditions these
areas separately, giving you greater comfort and more choices and more
control than ever before.
