Why does your frames load
several seconds after I load a page on this site?
This only occurs when you do not enter
our site at our main URL. If you enter a URL to one of our content pages
(from a search engine for example), the supporting frames will be loaded
1/2 second after the content page is loaded. One reason we have a delay
is so that you can use your "back" button on your browser to back out of
our site. Without the delay, it would be next to impossible to break out
of our frames with the "back" button. We made this change in response to
complaints about not being able to use the "back" button in order to
return to search engine sites. We have experimented with delays from 1/2
second to 2 seconds. See, we do listen to our site users! :)

Why can't
I view your main pages in a separate window?
Our
main frame pages cannot be viewed in a new window because we have
included JavaScript on each page that loads the main frame if it is not
present. The reason for this is that many search engines with
"crawlers" will list the URL to a page that is intended to be
displayed inside of a frame. If you were to load the URL to a page that
is intended to be viewed inside our frames page, you would not have any
navigation links at all (we use a Java menu system located on our header
frame),
therefore the drop down menu would not display if a page was displayed
outside of its intended frame. By forcing all of our pages to load its
intended frames page, we can insure that each page is viewed within the
context that we designed the page for.

Why can't view your site with my version 3 browser?
Obviously
when you set out to design a web site you want to be compatible
with as many browsers as possible. Unfortunately the older browsers do
not support many of the new features that we felt we needed to make our
site easy to navigate. Our site has over 145 pages of information. That
can be a lot of pages to look through when you are trying to find information. We
felt that good site navigation was a must. We chose to use Java
and frames to design the drop down menu. The Java version necessary to support
our site is only supported
with version 4 browsers and later. As the web grows, more and more sites
will require updated browsers. The vast majority of browsers used on the
web today are compatible with our web site.

Who
does your site maintenance?
Site
maintenance is done from our office in Shawnee, Oklahoma by the owner of
Sunbelt (at least for now). Many of the product pages are designed and
copyrighted by their respective companies and used on our site with
their permission. We do not link to manufacturer's sites. This entire
site was developed by the owner of Sunbelt.

Why
cant I pay my Sunbelt bill on this web site?
Update 09/06/01 Online payment is in the works. Due
to the additional expense required for secure connections for online
payment, we chose to wait until online bill payment is more widely used
my consumers. We will add online bill payment in the future if there is demand for that service. Don't forget that many banks offer
online bill payment ability. If you use online bill payments from your
bank, you would simply set us up to receive a check from your bill
payment service.
